25 Unicorn Street- Thursday evening

Once upon a time Kitty threw parties pretty regularly and now it meant making sure the kid had a sleepover that night which had more to do with being able to clean than just having her sleeping upstairs, hoping the dogs behaved, and worrying about how much there was going to be to clean up tonight/tomorrow. Adulthood!

Adulthood also meant she was totally fine with people just coming to hang out. It felt like she didn't know a ton of people on the island these days, and there were newbies now, so people could just get together over plenty of pizza and drinks and not worrying about centering things on a game or anything this time.

Funny thing about Irony...

Oh, yeah, like Summer was going to miss a party if she could help it. It was a little weird wondering if she'd ever actually been to Kitty and Clint's before, which she was probably sure she hadn't, but, like, there totally should be more parties that weren't at people's MCA/MHA apartments or mansions in general.

Her nose wrinkled a little as she remember Prompto's Puppy Bowl parties, but decided that didn't count because it messed with her thesis.

But anyway! Pizza! Drinks! Heck yeah!

Of course Tony was there for a party thrown by Kitty! With a couple bottles of wine that were unintentionally out of the price range of half the island. Because it was what he had in the wine fridge, okay? He bougie.

It helped that Steve was super unaware of the cost of the wine just left around the house to be had with takeout food.

Ooooh, a party? Yes, please, sign Yukari up! She'd started her day with drinking, might as well end it the same way it began, right? Right! And there was free booze and food, two of her most favorite things ever, and she didn't even care that she didn't know who was hosting it, it was a good way to meet new people, right?

Honestly, she couldn't really care less about the meeting people part, but it did sort of just go along with the free booze part, didn't it?

Tony'd handled bringing the drinks, so that left Steve to show up empty-handed, which he hated. "Flowers," he said, handing Kitty a bouquet of flowers. "Don't let Clint eat them."

Thor had had his drinking and socializing opportunity for the day, so now it was Don's turn, because Don guessed that was how this worked or whatever. Hopefully this one would be much less awkward than the other had been.

Raiden had arrived with the pizzas and then just...not left. Because party! With pizzas! <Obviously he was here for this.

Clint had put himself on dog duty, which meant Lucky and Rook were securely safe upstairs with food, water, toys, and Animal Planet on the TV because yes, his pets were spoiled and no, you weren't going to make him feel bad about that.

Now he was ready to be a good co-host and pretend like he liked people!

Cal had invited Arden to come along with him to Kitty and Clint's party, since that's what friends did, you know? Invited each other to come to parties! So despite probably not knowing anybody, she was here, nursing a hard cider, because the last thing she wanted to do was get drunk for the first time in front of a bunch of strangers, and/or professors of her classes!

Fortunately, a game of Never Have I Ever meant that she could have a bottle of Everclear in front of her and still not get drunk because she generally Had Never.

Navaan had just sorta followed Dean in like a lost duckling. A lost duckling that needed booze. "Oh hey!" she said, pointing at Kitty. "I know you! You have a magic bullet or whatever!"

No, she hadn't retained Kitty's name. But she'd remembered at least one of her truths so that was...something?

Because I can Cal had mostly heard about this because he met Clint's dogs, which meant he had also met Clint because the dogs were attached to him at the time. He brought some cider, because he wasn't an alcohol aficionado and it sounded good, and was doing his best to appear like a party person.

Rey didn't love parties, but she was bored and this didn't seem to be a huge deal. So she could show up, look like she was being social for the amount of time it took her to finish one drink, then leave.

Jon was still a bit nervous about parties, but he was slowly learning Fandom ones weren't too bad, so he was here.

Arthur hadn't been planning on going to any parties, but John had bullied encouraged him to leave the house and go out. So here he was. It was loud with all the people, so he found a corner of the couch and sat, letting John people-watch.

After looking around a little, Summer decided to modify her usual staple for these things based on effectiveness.

Look, she didn't actually have a lot of these that she could actually contribute! Her experiences were vast and varied, so sometimes, you really did just have to keep it simple. Was it exciting? No. Was it going to get a good amount of people to drink? Yes. Wasn't that what really mattered?
