25 Unicorn Street- Saturday morning

Kitty hadn't given much thought to what weekend it was, so it was just another morning when she finally got up. She went downstairs, put on some coffee and fed the dogs, and then stood at the counter to try and make the coffee brew faster with the power of her mind.

Yep, just your typical Saturday so far.

"Okay, good. I'm a lot of fun," she said, satisfied with that answer. "Is there breakfast?"

"There's coffee, which you can't have. But we've got cereal and stuff?" Clint offered. "Your mom keeps insisting on having real food in the house, like we're civilized or something."

"Real food doesn't mean the cereal's healthy, does it?" she checked.

"Oh no, I make her get a box of sugary stuff," Clint said with a grin. "How else am I supposed to survive breakfast?"

"You couldn't. No one can," Lexi decided. "Sugary stuff and coffee, but I can't have that yet. I mean... back home I'm totally allowed to have coffee."

Worth a shot.

"Yeeeeah, your mother would kill me. Your mother here and the one back home, she'd find a way through the portal somehow," Clint said. "We have chocolate milk though!" Because Clint was secretly five, shhh.

"You're the best," she said excitedly. "Can I put it in my cereal?"

Lexi, no. No, Lexi. Ew.

Clint made a face at that, because yes, ew.

"I don't think sweet cereal and chocolate milk would mix. Why don't you try mixing it in your mouth to see?"

This was going to end in disaster. "If Mom asks, I'm saying you told me to," she warned.
