Avengers Tower-Clint's New York- Saturday night

Once the wedding was done, everyone moved inside for the reception. There were plenty of lights strung up, and despite all the worries over where to seat people, there was enough room for everyone and probably no fights would break out during the reception at least. Everyone cross your fingers.

It was time for a party!

[Same verse same as the first! If you want to be here, you got an invite.]

Clint grinned. "If it wasn't for Fandom weirdness, I probably wouldn't have even talked to her. I thought being sent there was going to be the worst, but it turned out the exact opposite."

"Yeah? How'd you two meet, then?"

"Well, I met her at Caritas initially and got myself thrown into the lake because I didn't believe her story about the spell on the place," Clint said, sighing. "And then a crazy lady attacked the island and mind controlled some folks, including me, and Kitty helped stop me from doing anything stupid. After that, I figured she wouldn't want to talk to me, but we ended up talking more and..." He trailed off, glancing around. "The rest is history."

"That is . . . definitely the kind of love story only Fandom can tell," Eliot said. Because, you know, meeting your partners on a con gone wrong and then getting to know them while using all of your powers for good was totally normal. "Wait, what spell on Caritas?"

He'd never had cause to get in any fights there, somehow.

"There's a spell that prevents people from getting into fights. You throw a punch, bam, you end up in the lake at the park with ducks quacking at you for invading their space," Clint said. "We don't have a lot of rowdy drunks in town, but I guess you never know."

"Considerin' how often the island's been attacked in just the two years I been there, that sounds pretty damn useful, actually." Hardison and Parker were going to get stern lectures to go hide out there, zombies be damned, the next time they got invaded. They wouldn't listen, but Eliot would try anyway. =
