Avengers Tower-Clint's New York- Saturday night

Once the wedding was done, everyone moved inside for the reception. There were plenty of lights strung up, and despite all the worries over where to seat people, there was enough room for everyone and probably no fights would break out during the reception at least. Everyone cross your fingers.

It was time for a party!

"I doubt any criminal would want to face this crowd," she said. "I only know a few people, but I know they can all kick butt if they had to."

"Which kind of makes it a waste!" Parker sighed, and shook her head, squinting around at people. "Anyway, it's still kinda fun. They have those little favors of candy. And the flowers are nice." She considered everything, and added, "Seems like a lot of fuss, though. Would you want to get married?"

"Not before I was turned," Allie admitted. "And now, well, let's just say till death do us part has a whole new meaning. I can't see it happening."

"And you don't pay taxes, either," Parker concluded. "Which is what Eliot said was one of the reasons Kitty and Clint might be getting married. So that makes sense." She hummed, looking around. "Still. Might be fun to go to one of these again. Maybe I'll but Nate about him and Sophie. Just to see him twitch."

"I think it's a little more then taxes." She raised an eyebrow at Parker. "You could have a wedding of your own."

"I guess?" But that was such a Regular People Thing. "But we don't usually pay taxes either. We set up charities and stuff anonymously. So that's not a reason."

"I assume I pay taxes. Eric takes care of it." Since he was such a law-abiding vampire and all that.

"Charities for who?"

"Foster kids. Old people." THat was the last one, up in Toronto. "Sometimes horses, if Eliot picks. Sometimes shelters. Schools, if Hardison picks." Parker didn't so much go for those. "Vets. People with mental problems." Parker was in favor of helping both of those, though."You know, whoever is around when we get our revenue stream going." Hmm. "I wonder if we pay taxes on our diner employees?"
