Avengers Tower- Clint's New York- Saturday evening

The sun had gone down (you're welcome, vampire friends) and the lights brightening the outside of Avengers Tower had gone on. The outcropping had been decorated nicely with promises to Tony that it would be back to normal in the morning. There was a huppa on the far end with a certain blue mutant there to officiate, and plenty of seating on either side of the aisle for guests.

When the music started, Lucky and Rook were sent down the aisle first, wearing little doggie tuxes, with one carrying the rings on a pillow on his back. When they finally got up there, they were followed by Lockheed, tossing flowers out of a basket pretty much because he had opposable thumbs and that gave him flower dragon status.

And then Kitty came out, looking happy enough that she'd probably bounce all the way down the aisle if she didn't have Logan on her arm on the way. It was time to get this wedding started.

"Man, just lookin' at the mayor intimidates me," Hardison said, because he was wise and not afraid to admit to being scared by powerful, terrifying women. "Besides, I thought you were tryna be all respectable now. Buisiness owner, community leader, teacher, mentor to young scholars..."

Eliot, on the other hand, was fair game for harassment. Always.

"You were fine," Hardison pointed out, drawing out the 'i' in 'fine' to mean it in two very different contexts. "In fact, who came over to chew whose ear off 'bout bein' naked in public?"

"Naked in my diner ain't the same as naked on the preserve." Eliot smiled, mental image starting to form. They'd need a tent of course, Hardison would outright refuse to even approach the preserve without one, but they could get a really nice one, big and airy, with nice cushions and things so Hardison couldn't complain about rocks poking in bad places.

That miiiiiiiight almost get him to stop complaining about racist militiamen in the woods, truth be told.

But, yes, it would take some time, equipment, and persuasion. As was being evidenced by Hardison's, "Yo, hold up. Who said anything about the preserve. There are alots in there, Eliot!"

"Pretty sure we can figure out how to keep 'em away," Eliot said. "And there's less sand goin' everywhere than at the beach."

"Orrr..." Hardison said, like he'd just thought of it. "There's this whole hotel in town. Got all sorts of fancy suites. Even some cabins if you want that rustic charm! An' it's got a roof, in case it rains or whatever. All these crazy amenities, like indoor plumbin' for all your haircare needs."
