MHA #10- Saturday night

Needless to say, the party had been planned before Kitty woke up with boyparts. Every time this had happened, she tried to just hide out as much as possible, but it looked like that wasn't so much happening this time. So, fine, you won this one, Fandom. At least she probably wouldn't be the only one.

The apartment was cleaned, even if some stuff had been shoved into the ever-growing pile of "stuff I didn't feel like dealing with right now" in Kitty's closet. There were snacks and pizza set out, and the fridge was stocked with sodas and True Blood. Keeping Flash in mind, she was even trying to keep things non-alcoholic so it wouldn't be weird for him. Everything was all set, even if argh why why why.

At least no one was gonna have to worry about conversation-starters, right? And some things during game night might be more interesting.

"No. I'm a big fan of my original parts," Kitty said. "These weekends are usually reserved for grumbling and hiding in bed."

"Hm. Last two times I just went about my day normally," he said. "But this stuff never freaked me out to begin with."

"You're lucky," she said, and meant it. "I just end up feeling awkward and self-conscious. At least I have clothes for it by now."

"Oh I can wear my old clothes when I'm a girl." 'Cause he was always boobless. "Well the tops, not the pants. I wear Derek's pants when I'm a girl 'cause his are tighter than mine."

"Again, lucky. Some of my stuff I can still wear but it looks weird. I mean, I guess I could go around in a t-shirt and pajama pants..." Not such a good look for actually going out and doing things, though.

"I give it till Monday," Kitty said. "Because I've already packed for the fall trip and I don't have time to redo it all."

"Man, I wish I got to go on a fall trip," he said. "My fall break is, like, a day. What kind of break is that?"

College wasn't the same as a fantasy high school, Stiles.

"Well, this is more of a working trip, so there's that?" she said, trying to make it better. "At least it'll be the end of the semester in no time, and you'll get that off."

"That's true," he said. "And it's not like I don't end up here every few weeks anyway."

"Are you totally sick of school yet?" she wondered.

"The school part? Not yet." Although the constant bills thanks to school worried him a lot. "The whole social aspect of it? So very sick of that."

"I'm sorry. You deserve the awesome social aspect." Not that Kitty had gotten much of that herself to know what 'awesome' was, but she figured he deserved the best of it.
