25 Unicorn Street- Saturday morning

Kitty had known she'd be in for it this morning when she said she and Clint deserved a night to not be adults. She'd known.

And then this morning, at 6 am, mere hours after she got to sleep, Lexi decided she was up for the day, because two-year-olds were monsters. Kitty had then had to convince her that no, this was not time to play, no we're not going to chase the dogs right now, please sit down on the couch and just watch cartoons.

This had also backfired, because god kids' cartoons were annoying and loud.

At some point, late, when her headache had lessened to the point that leaving the building felt like a slightly non-terrible idea, an inflated reindeer was deposited at the front door.

This was what you got for having children. You got a reindeer.
