Kitty was still at work, still god damn pregnant, and really tired of it. And there was for some reason a cow in the bar, and it kept walking through everything (literally through) and chirping, and Tino wasn't any help because he kept running into the wall for no reason.
Anyway, she was here, annoyed and overheating, refusing to turn on the TV tonight for her own sanity, and if you caught her in a quiet moment, you might hear her looking down and threateningly murmuring, "Get out."

"Aatr's tits, I hate this place," she muttered. "More than usual."

Which made her glad that at least she was stuck and not consumed by the bar like that drink.
"Goddammit."

That had enough of sarcasm in it not to be confused with some kind of weird caring.

"The only thing that would cheer me up," said Rosa, "would be if you came waltzing in here with a saw to cut me out of here. Hey, Blackstone has a ton of saws, maybe someone could go get her."
Little did she know just how useless Blackstone would be right now, too.
"Or maybe if I tried kicking you right now, I'll get sent out to the duck pond. Let me try to kick you."

Honestly, she should just be grateful that Rosa was asking instead of just doing it.

"Go ahead then," she said, hiding confusion behind a smirk.

And a part of her, truthfully, sort of wished that maybe everything weird happening in the bar right now had also influenced the protection spell to not work, and that nice sharp kick to Seivarden's calf would actually connect, but of course it didn't, and Rosa disappeared, winding up....not...quite in the duck pond, but...close enough?
