25 Unicorn Street- Saturday morning

It was going to be a full house this weekend between her guests and Clint's, and so Kitty was on her best behavior. This maybe had something to do with the fact that she was a little uncomfortable around her so-called best friend these days, and also something to do with being limited on space and knowing people would be all over the house. Normally she might make a beeline for coffee in the morning, but today she showered and dressed and then made a beeline for coffee.

And while she was at it, she might as well start on pancakes. There couldn't be any weirdness around pancakes, right?

"Think you can handle getting bacon together?" Kitty teased. She'd seen him burn frozen pizza.

"Hey, I can handle a single food item in a pan. Probably," Clint said, going to the fridge. "And you can tell me if it's all burning too much."

"Will do. Breakfast is teamwork. Just like it'll be teamwork if we have to break up any fights this weekend," Kitty smiled.

"If Logan and Barney get into a fight, I'm just pushing them outside so they don't break anything in here, I'm not gonna get between them," Clint warned her.

"You probably wouldn't have to, with me yelling at them to behave," she said. "I am settling for vague unease at most. Also, maybe any alcohol goes outside until Monday."

"Oh, you're a brilliant woman. Thank you for the reminder of why I married you," he said. "And we can veer them away from the bars too. It helps that you're in charge of one of them."

"I'm not sure keeping Logan away is possible, but we can keep them separated. And I guess if we really needed Illyana might be a buffer," Kitty said. "If she decides it suits her, or whatever."
