Movie Sign Theater 3000- Thursday evening

It'd be pretty sad to say that Kitty thought she deserved a pat on the back for managing to wait like 48 hours for date #2 with Clint. So she wouldn't say it, but if anyone wanted to pat her on the back anyway, the line started right over here.

While there were probably wiser choices than sitting in a dark theater watching what would probably amount to an awful movie, they weren't as fun. So with plenty of time before the show started and any needed concessions gotten, the most important question was asked when they got into the actual theater: "Where should we sit?"

She was going to take a wild guess here that they weren't going anywhere near the front.

They weren't going to get a lot of talking done during the movie anyway. So she just brought her free hand up to cup his jaw, kind of impressed they'd lasted this long before getting to this point.

Clint was rapidly losing interest in watching the movie, because this was far more entertaining, especially when he leaned a little into Kitty's touch and tried to deepen the kiss.

Kitty sighed a bit into the kiss, trying to pull herself closer in the seat just to feel more of him. Okay, maybe standing makeouts had something over theater makeouts when it came to that.

That sighing noise was kind of delightful, and Clint moaned quietly in return. Yes, they were in public, but Clint didn't necessarily want to hide the fact that Kitty was making him feel awfully nice.

That was not discouraging her at all, either. In fact, she kissed him a little harder, wondering if the lights were even out yet. Not that she cared either way, but it'd at least give them a little privacy.

Clint only noticed the lights dimming because everything got quiet. Now there was really no reason not to slip his hand behind Kitty's head and kiss her harder too.

With everything starting on the screen, Kitty didn't need to worry so much about the sound she made at that. Her other hand, meanwhile, was sliding to his waist, because the more touching, the better.

The fact that Kitty was even making noises was making Clint feel better about this, and he tried to lean in to encourage the touch, considering how nice and warm her hands were making him feel.

Then he probably wouldn't mind if her hand slipped just under the hem of his shirt. She had to keep reminding herself that they couldn't take this too far here, but some skin contact was nice.

No, Clint didn't mind that at all, and the little surprised moan he let out might have made that clear. So might the way he deepened the kiss, or tried to tangle his fingers in her hair.

Kitty definitely liked that. All of that. And she might have taken that as a cue to very lightly scratch her nails against his side, just to see what kind of reaction that got.

The noise Clint made was probably louder than it should have been, and embarrassingly high-pitched, but come on, that was unexpected. "That was mean," he teased softly, pulling back to catch his breath.

Kitty had to giggle at the noise. Had to. "It's not mean," she protested. "It's experimenting."

"Well, I guess if you want to do it again. In the name of experimentation and all..." Clint trailed off with a smile.

"So I think I've got an idea for date three," she said, even as she did it again.

Clint bit his lip to try to stifle the noise this time, but it didn't work well. "Does it involve experimentation? For both of us?"

She was going to look forward to that even more now, with that answer. "Mm hm," she said, leaning in to kiss his jaw. "I was thinking you could come over, and we order in and just not leave."

Having to stop because they were in public was getting to be really difficult. This may have been obvious.

It was difficult for Clint too, and he ran his fingers along the back of her neck as he pretended to think about it for all of a second. "I think that's an excellent plan," he said.

Her eyes fluttered shut for a moment at that, which meant she had to ask, "Soon?"

"Sunday? Or Monday?" he suggested. "Definitely soon."

"Sunday's sooner. I like sooner," Kitty decided.

"Me too," Clint said, leaning in to plant a kiss on Kitty's cheek and stay close. Sooner was definitely better.
