While staying in her apartment to avoid the weirdness meant that she'd worked out her choreography for class tomorrow, it also got really boring really fast. Besides, she should check in to see if everyone at the old home away from home was themselves or not.

When she got to the house, Kitty phased through the door and said, "Anyone abnormal in here?"

"Something tight and lacy?" Okay, maybe he was confusing speakeasy and brothel. "Maybe slightly less leather than you normally wear to the bar."

Kitty eyed him. "Honey, is this speakeasy in your head set in the Old West or something?"

She was giving him the benefit of the doubt and hoping he meant 'saloon.'

Clint squinted a little as he thought about it. "Not really? Maybe I don't know much about speakeasies," he admitted. "I never really got to that era in school. But now I'm picturing you in the Old West and that's good too."

"Happy to fuel your imagination," Kitty grinned, shaking her head. "You know, I always thought that was probably why I hyphenated my name in that reality where we were married. Because Kitty Barton sounds like someone who'd run an Old West whorehouse."

Seriously, though, it did.
