MHA #10- Saturday morning

It should surprise no one that last night's date had ended up at Kitty's place, and as it turned out, having a boyfriend for Valentine's Day two years in a row- the same boyfriend, no less, go her- was kind of awesome. That should also probably not be a surprise.

It took her a while to drag herself out of bed this morning, heading to the kitchen to put up coffee, because that was a necessary thing and the Perk was all the way outside. So yeah, just another ordinary morning, just like the ones everyone else was having before their weekends got turned upside down.

Talia grinned at that one, all teeth. "Talia Barton. His kid," she said, nodding over at Clint. "But it's cool. I can go hunt down dad if it gets crowded here."

Okay, it was a little weird to have Clint's kid here when she didn't appear to be the mom, and was that ever weird to think about. But Kitty could roll with it. These weekends were almost supposed to be weird.

"But your dad's right here," Kitty said, a little confused.

"Yeah, and when a man and another man get into a fight in Dr. Strange's office, sometimes a baby happens." A beat. "Ta-da."

"...Huh. They do not teach you that in health class," Kitty frowned. "So who's your other dad?"

"Dad's name is Derek. And thank god I didn't get his eyebrows out of the deal."

GUESS WHAT THE LAST NAME IS, KITTY.

"Seriously?"

"Awesome, right?" Oh, the sarcasm was strong in this one.

And that would be Kitty not answering because she was sucking her lips in trying not to laugh in front of her.

"I'll make sure to film it when I tell him," Talia promised.

"I like you," Kitty decided. "Is it weird there? Is everything just weird? Because it'd be weird here."

Talia shrugged. "It's not like they're married. That would be terrible and gross."

"Agreed." Derek was like her brother, okay. "Sorry. It's just... weird." Had she said that already?

"You're telling me," Talia replied. "So did not expect to find dad's loveshack."

That little sniff and look of 'gross, need brain bleach' was probably a hint about lycanthropy there.

Kitty maybe blushed a little at that. Oh, look, time for a subject change! "Do you want anything? I mean, I guess you know where things are, with the cereal and all."

"Maybe a camera when I tell dad--Clint." That got an eyeroll. "About my other dad."

Kitty held up a finger in the international sign for "one second" and went to get her camera. "I'm a terrible person."
