MHA #10- Saturday morning

The alarm didn't go off, but Kitty woke up early anyway out of habit. She opened her eyes and glanced toward the window to try and guess how early it actually was without looking at the clock... and realized the window wasn't where it was supposed to be.

Sitting up a little in bed, she took a moment to glance around the strange room, and another moment to realize that it looked familiar. And another moment to realize it was familiar because this used to be her bedroom. Look, it'd been a long time and she'd just woken up. You try to process that fast.

Turning onto her side, she laid a hand on Clint's shoulder in case he wasn't actually awake yet. "Honey, there's a Fandom thing."

Twenty years had not made her any less used to weird stuff happening, no.

"With nothing or no one else to worry about besides you and me for a little while?" she said, rubbing a hand over his back.

And okay, ignore that she was totally going to worry about Lexi a little this whole time, but she was a mom and she could deal with that.

"We should probably do this more often."

Clint was going to worry too, especially if Logan was the one watching Lexi. He definitely needed friends who didn't have claws. "I think that would require the world not needing us as often, and I just don't see that happening any time soon. But for now, we can take what we're getting?"

"Can we take what we're getting and cross our fingers that the world settles down for a day here and there?" she said hopefully. "Because I can multitask."

"I think I'm capable of doing multiple things at once," Clint said, proving it by kissing Kitty and stroking his hand over her stomach.

Kitty kissed him back, smiling against his lips. "Good thing we've got time for you to show me."
